It’s the session that started it all….
It seems like yesterday, when I brought my new DSLR, random Christmas decorations, and my two nieces into my parents backyard. Took some pics for my sister’s Christmas card and ended up starting a business. I can’t believe this is the fourth time we have done this… I love this session because it has become a mark of growth… Looking back at all of the sessions I see how I have grown as a photographer, and how the girls have grown…

The Deets
I have always wanted to do white and gold. In fact that has been the plan for the last two years but it ended up changing while dress shopping. This year I was able to get the color palate I always wanted. I added gold touches with panted wood that represented parts of the GEM brand = Family and Faith. We went to Bushnell Park right in the heart of Hartford because I thought the gold would pair nicely with what was available there. It was a hot day in October (thanks New England)… but you would never tell how uncomfortable they were based on these photos…
