I believe in real moments and chasing sunsets. In the kinds of images that remind you why you love the people in your life just the way they are. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come. (My mantel will prove this)

I began capturing images on those antiques we old people like to refer to as disposable camera when I was a teenager. My love for friends and family, introverted tendencies forced me to really observe the beauty in the world, and the people around me.

Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that tell a story and showcase the beauty of both the people in the images and the world around them.

Even with it's ups and downs, your life, your story, are beautiful and I can't wait to create images to show that! My love for photography has brought me everywhere from the tall buildings of NYC to the New England countryside. But regardless of where I travel, the blunt comments and Northeast potholes will always be my home.

I was born and raised in heart of New England. I grew up in a close knit family that is still close to this day. GEM was birthed from a desire to see my family portrayed authentically and beautifully, and that continues to be the goal. I want you to look back at your photos and be reminded of that stage of life.

New isn't always better. I often spend my office hours bopping my head to some good old school. Music has the same power photos do . They both transport us back in time to a feeling attached to memories.

I'm thankful for these awards

The first time my dad saw my mom, he was so sure she was the one, he walked straight up to her and asked her out. It worked. It's been 42 years and they're still going strong.

My parents have always been a beautiful example of love, intimacy and marriage. And photos have told our family's story from day one. I don't remember a time I didnt have a camera documenting my life. Photos remind us of the strength, courage and hope that reside in all of us the way few other things can.
