Nine years ago my world changed forever… I officially became an auntie for the first time… Now I had been considered an auntie to many children up to that point but this time it was not just in name only…. I love all three of my nieces equally but my relationship with my Gracie girl is special. I think its the fact that we are the oldest and share the same birthday week. We are both sensitive, love giving to others, love watching football, and love girly things.
This is her fourth shoot I have done with her and two things always happen: the beach and a red, white, or blue fancy dress (because she is a fourth of July baby) This year we went with white and I love how white dresses look at the beach….. The soft pink petaled dress was perfect for the flower garden at Edgerton Park.
I had never been to Silver Sands and it is a very nice spot. If you are looking for a quiet spot this summer this place is it … As long as you don’t mind walking down the boardwalk, which Grace whined was sooooooo looonnnng. I also never had been to Edgerton Park, but loved shooting there. It was quiet, and had the most beautiful communal garden. Thanks to the friendly grounds keeper, who let us in after hours, I was able to get some of my favorite shots ….
Happy Birthday Gracie girl .. Auntie Raina loves you lots … Cant wait til your big birthday shoot for age 10….
