4 years ago today a DIY shoot in my parents backyard change my life forever… If you haven’t been following me long here is a quick summary…
Up until October 28th 2014 I had been taking my nieces to get their pictures taken at one of those chain portrait studios. It was such a hassle because they were dealing with strangers every time. Gave fake smiles and got maybe two good shots…. I had just purchased my DSLR for another business I wanted to start (yes I wanted to be a Youtuber). I grabbed some decorations from the basement, bought coordinating outfits from Old Navy, and picked a random warm day October and the rest is history…
The session that started it all has become a tradition… I pick a color scheme… Go dress shopping with the girls… Find a pretty new location and random warm fall day. This year I went with navy blue and purple for the dresses… We went to Wickham Park in Manchester, a stunning location with lush themed gardens….
I cant believe it has been four years, but it also feels like I have been doing this forever. This year has been great… I cant wait to see what year five has in store … Thank you to all of you who have been on this journey so far….
