I love that I have a job that lets me incorporate some of my favorite things to work. This time I got to photograph (one of the favorite things) in my favorite city in the world: NYC… I fell in love with NYC when I was 17, and have cherished it since.
Though Manhattan is the most famous borough, Brooklyn is starting to give it a run for its money. With it’s fantastic variety of fun new places to eat, funky new lofts, and ever growing hipster population, Brooklyn is the new place to be.
The Deity is the quintessential Brooklyn wedding venue, from it’s exposed brick walls, chic furniture, and swanky lounge. This venue is perfect for the NYC bride. I was able to work with some amazing vendors who brought this amazing shoot to life. The models were a married couple, which made this shoot a dream. The shoot included a leather jacket, with “just married” printed on the back. The cake screamed classic Brooklyn with it’s gold painted fondant, molded in the image of the Brooklyn Bridge.
I love how these pictures came out. I know I say that almost every blog, but this time I REALLY mean it. I have to say this was some of my best work to date.
Enjoy
A big thank you to all of the vendors who put this all together it was truly a shoot I will never forget
