Christian and Lena’s Aria winter wedding was chic, fun, and a great way to kick off the 2022 wedding season. Though it was typical winter weather on the outside the day was warm with love. There were tears, lots of laughs, and dancing all the makings of a great wedding day. The day was planned by the bride’s sister Noel and she did such a stunning job. From the grand decor to the little details she killed it.
I started the day talking to Lena about my weekly Bachelor Insta-Stories (if you would like to see them you can follow me here) and then I got to styling and shooting her details. They were are classic whites and golds, which were a perfect match to the Aria, which was decorated by the stunning florals for Arcadia Florists. The second shooter captured Christain’s details which were an all-black suit and his red bottom shoes that matched Lena’s.
We then headed to the Aria to finish the getting portion of the day. Between the letter reading and first look with the bride’s dad the tears began to flow, which also happened when Christian saw his bride come down the aisle in the gold and white ballroom. The first kiss was framed by the flare from the setting sun, which made for a stunning backdrop.
After formal photos, the party started with their first dance with their family and friends circling them. Even though they looked at each other as if they were the only two people in the ballroom. Parent dances brought more sweet tearful moments as well as the dance between sister Ellie and Christian, which had many smiles.
The DJ gave a family-friendly soundtrack highlighted by the Encanto Soundtrack, which turned into a karaoke session performed by the flower girls, ring bearer, and “ring security”. Following the dinner, cutting the cake, and the tossing of the bouquet the bride, groom, and guests enjoyed the Aria’s dessert table and danced the night away.
