The Meeting

I remember meeting Lisa and Chris at Rebel Dog in Plainville on a Sunday afternoon. It was super busy. First, I had to fight to grab a table because apparently, Sunday afternoons are the busiest day of the week. The three of us sat down and got right to it. Meeting with couples is essentially like a first date, and like any good first date, I knew that we would be a good fit. We spent the afternoon discussing first looks, how they met, and ultimately tried to figure out how capture their wedding at the Grand Oak Villa.

The Wedding Theme

Lisa did such an amazing job in planning her vineyard inspired day. From the doors at the beginning of the aisle decorated with initials made from wine corks. To the tables named after different types of wine. Wine colored David’s Bridal bridesmaid dresses were worn by all 12 of her girls. The groomsman and Chris wore neck ties of deep red to compliment the ladies attire.

The Personal Touches

The day truly was all about the bride and groom. I could see that through out the whole entire day. Whether it was Lisa surprising Chris with a chocolate fountain or the signature cocktails named after their two dogs. This day was truly about Chris and Lisa tying the knot. Lisa gave her BFFs Golden Girls pins. Chris gave his groomsmen monogrammed flasks.

The Wedding Day

First of all, the weather was perfect. Goldilocks would have been in heaven because it was just right. Lisa and Chris did a first look at the lake down the street from the Grand Oak Villa. We arrived at the lake thanks to Lisa’s dear friend and his golf cart. The ceremony was charming and fun because of another friend who performed it. The reception was full of laughs and tears largely in part the toasts. From dancing the Wabble or the glow sticks the party was full of fun.
