When Jaclyn and Sam got in touch with me about their Edgerton Park Yale engagement shoot, I just knew it would be a lot of fun – I was really excited. We spent the session wandering around Yale University, which is perfect for photos in the autumn because it has great backdrops and stunning architecture – as well as wandering downtown New Haven because there are so many photo ops. We also went to Edgerton Park, which made for some amazing photos. We then finished up with photos at the small rustic building, which was a great way to finish the session.
The weather was so sunny, which was perfect for photos. The couple looked so happy throughout the shoot. They wore clothes comfortable for them, jeans, khakis, and matching blue tops – it was such a relaxed, casual session.
Jaclyn and Sam met when they were in high school and got engaged this year. They’re getting married at the Aqua Turf next year and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding!
