Elena and Jack got married in 2020 so you know that it did not go as planned, but it is still an amazing day. Their Hillstead Museum backyard wedding was supposed to take place at Elena’s mother’s church in New Britain and at a popular CT venue. But that was not the case (thanks 2020)
They ended up having the ceremony at another orthobox Greek church. The formals, which were supposed to be done at another landmark in CT, but was at the stunning Hillstead Museum, which is a classic New England estate in Farmington with countryside views. It was a gorgeous day and even the weather played ball! The day was topped off by a chic reception in their backyard.
THE CEREMONY– St George Greek Orthodox Church
The ceremony was a beautiful service in a beautiful church. During the ceremony, they did the traditional walk around the table. Like Uncle Jesse did in Full House.

THE RECEPTION– Backyard
The couple a classic ceremony in the afternoon, and fun yet elegant party in the evening. Filled with traditional Greek dancing, cigars, champagne, and yummy food. This backyard reception was a celebration of the ages. For dinner they had only the best food, and the first dance was a romantic slow dance. They finished off the evening with the ones they really love.
THE COUPLE
Elena wore a traditional white gown and Jack wore a dapper tuxedo and they looked really amazing. Elena and her girls were given the extra tough by the amazing team from Transcendent Makeup and Deeply Rooted Salon.
The couple got in touch with me last year, and their inquiry was really touching. They said they wanted to me because my work really stood out from the rest, and I loved that they seemed so much fun.
