Meet Andrew and Bethany
I love when I get inquiries that resulted from a past wedding, and when I received one from Bethany I was so delighted. Bethany was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot last summer’s wedding, but this blog isn’t about the past it’s about this late summer’s engagement session at Wethersfield Cove.
Bethany and Andrew’s Wethersfield Cove Engagement Session
When planning with Bethany for their engagement session she really let me pick the time and place. I like giving a place with a water option and another more open field option. She decided on the water option. Wethersfield Cove is found right on the edge of Old Wethersfield. If you are looking for a place to view a great sunset this is the place. There is also a charming barn, which gives a charming backdrop, for a rustic look.
We started the session int the woodsy areas, while Andrew and Bethany wore blue jeans and casual tops. After taking photos in various spots, the two of them changed into dressier outfits just in time for golden hour.
We concluded the session right as the sun was setting. The small docks allowed me to take pictures of them in front of the water and orange painted New England sky. These two were so much fun to shoot. We talked about how they met and about one of my favorite fast food place to eat Chipotle.
And now the photos…
I can not wait until their wedding next August at Hawk’s Landing in Southington CT. Not only is it a reunion with a past couples bridal party, but it will be a special day all on it’s own. If this session was a prelude to next year it’s going to be stunning, chill, and fun. All the makings of a great wedding.
