Josh and Sarah’s Glastonbury Boathouse wedding was the perfect day. The weather was stunning and the perfect reflection of who they are as a couple. It was relaxed, fun, and featured those they love, including signature drinks named after their two dogs.
I remember mee them at my families office like it was yesterday. They were as calm and friendly as they were on their wedding day. Josh made it a point that he wanted me to enjoy myself and I can honestly say I did. From getting ready till the last dancing shot I was one of the most enjoyable weddings I have done.
We started the day with getting ready photos at the Hilton Gardens in Glastonbury, which is conveniently right down the street from the venue. I walked into a tray of Chic Fil A nuggets, which a lot of people know are one of my faves.. That just set the mood for the day if you ask me ;).
Following getting ready photos, we headed over to the Glastonbury Boathouse and got into the nitty gritty of the wedding day. The first look and bridal party photos were taken in a beautiful shaded area with the Farmington River in the background. The ceremony took place right on the dock behind the venues porch. The cocktail hour and reception was a party to remember thanks to the band that comprised of friends of the couple.
Since it was a gorgeous day I and my second shooter were able to sneek them away for some stunning sunset portraits. These photos were definitly some of my faves from the day.
